Domaine les Grandes Vignes, "Le P'tit Vaillant"

Located in Anjou, this rather large estate of 55 hectares has been in the Vaillant family since the 17th century and has been cultivated biodynamically since 2008, while low-interventionist methods are used in the cellar. In a way, it’s a return to basics from a storied wine-producing family.

P’tit Vaillant is a blend of Grolleau and Cabernet Franc, light-to-medium in body, bursting with wild berries and black currant, brambles and green pepper, with a touch of dark chocolate on the finish. A no-brainer pairing with French bistro fare.
