NOTES - A very mineral nose with a certain smokiness from the limestone soil. It has a distinguished touch of pears (typical Bical) and fennel. After some time in the glass it even reveals thyme and honey. The mouth is refined, creamy, relatively smooth and has present minerality. The middle pallet is fruit driven and the aftertaste is dry and refreshing.
A blend of 39% Maria Gomes, 38% Bical and 23% Cercial; sourced from chalky clay slopes with direct Atlantic influence. The grapes are harvested by hand and gently pressed. The second fermentation takes place in bottle and ages 9 months on the lees. No dosage
