Gulp, Hablo Orange, 2024 1L

NOTES- Gulp Hablo Orange is a natural orange wine from La Mancha, Spain, crafted by the Parra brothers (Francisco, Javier, and Luis) in collaboration with winemaker Juan Antonio Ponce. Made from equal parts Verdejo and Sauvignon Blanc grapes grown on their 445-acre biodynamic estate, the wine undergoes one week of skin maceration to achieve its distinctive orange hue. The vineyards include Entresendas with alluvial riverbed soils and Olla del Monte with chalky clay and heat-retaining pebbles. Fermented with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel tanks, the wine is Demeter-certified biodynamic, bottled unfined and unfiltered with minimal sulfites at 11% ABV.

This orange wine displays a cloudy amber color from extended skin contact. The nose offers orange blossom, tropical jackfruit, and tea aromas. On the palate, expect dried citrus peels, grapefruit, and preserved apricot flavors with moderate tannins and herbaceous notes.
