Macatho, ChaCha

NOTES- Old vine Chasselas (60%) and Chardonnay spend several weeks on the skins, imparting texture and flavor to this medium-bodied dry white. This comes from the Cerro Negro vineyard which is located 70 meters above sea level and 60 km from the Pacific Ocean. Aromas of citrus, stone fruits, and herbs meld with tannic structure to create a highly quaffable, quirky yet food-friendly orange wine. Pair with mushroom risotto. The Macatho winery was started in 2016 by Macarena del Río and Thomas Parayre.
