Old-vine syrah grown on a vineyard planted by the layne family at 1,600 ft altitude within a wildly scenic corner of southwestern oregon.

The grapes were harvested by hand on october 3, 2020 by me, my sister, and a small crew. grapes were crushed by foot, with daily pigéage, and fermented, as always from only native yeasts. the wine sat in old, neutral oak barrels for over a year before being bottled unfined and unfiltered.
