NOTES- This Southern French blend gets its name from winemaker Jean-Marie Rimbert’s son Marceau, born during the very first harvest at Domaine Rimbert. A blend predominantly made up of Syrah (50%), with additions of Mourvèdre (20%), Cinsaut (15%), and Carignan (15%), this wine is packed with forest fruit and spice. It’s medium-bodied, with a supple palate of ripe plum, silken minerality, and a touch of refreshing acidity. An excellent table wine to drink with hearty bean stew or aged cheeses like asiago or a smoked gouda.
